EP Shanghai 2025: Condensation Control for Power and Solar Cabinets

EP Shanghai 2025 took place from 18 to 20 November at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. NOXT exhibited at booth N4L02 in Hall N4, in the EPA-B zone, with the enclosure climate control range laid out for three days of technical discussion.

Products on display

The booth carried cabinet dehumidifiers for semiconductor, smart grid and high-power applications, AC and DC PTC cabinet heaters, comb-type heating plates, thermostat-controlled fan heaters, filter fans for IP54 cooling, and the full controller line: mechanical thermostats, electronic hygrostats and digital thermo-hygrostats.

Enclosure lighting, door-sensor LED strips, mounting brackets and waterproof sealing strips filled out the accessory wall, which gave visitors a way to solve the smaller mechanical questions on the same visit.

Who stopped by

Traffic came from three directions. Substation and distribution teams carried photos of corroded terminals and wanted to know which dehumidifier fits a given cabinet. Renewable energy visitors, working on PV combiner boxes and inverter cabinets, asked about DC-powered units that can run from the panel supply. Industrial panel builders were mostly interested in thermostats and heaters for cold-weather sites.

Most common question: set point selection for thermo-hygrostats

Technical conversations that carried over

Several discussions went past a product list. Integrators wanted to compare heater control by thermostat against continuous heating for energy cost. Others asked how filter fans interact with dehumidifiers when both are fitted to one enclosure. Those exchanges shaped the sizing notes we sent out after the show.

If you are specifying climate control for a substation, PV or industrial cabinet, send the cabinet volume, internal heat load and ambient range. We will reply with a matched specification.
