No power supply, no configuration, no failure modes to explain to customers. The bimetal thermostat is the most dependable component in cabinet climate control. KTS011 is normally open, closing when temperature rises to start a cooling fan; KTO011 is normally closed, keeping a heater on until the cabinet warms. Both cover 0-60C with a 7K switching differential.
A bimetal strip does the work of sensor and switch in one piece of metal. When the cabinet warms, the strip bends and closes the contact. When it cools, the strip springs back and opens the circuit. No power supply, no standby draw, no electronic controller to fail.
The 7K differential keeps the fan or heater in a steady cycle. A regular thermostat switching every few degrees would click the fan on and off every minute, wearing the contacts and shortening the load. The 7K gap, roughly 7 degrees apart, means the fan runs for a useful stretch and then stays off long enough to matter. KTS011 (NO) and KTO011 (NC) share the same 35mm DIN-rail footprint and cover 0-60C, with a contact rating of AC250V 10A that handles most cabinet fans and heaters directly.

Choose KTS011 (normally open). It closes when temperature rises and starts the fan. The 7K differential prevents the fan from cycling on and off every minute.
Choose KTO011 (normally closed). It opens when temperature reaches the set point, so the heater stays on when the cabinet is cold and off when it is warm.
Order the pair. KTS011 for the fan and KTO011 for the heater, both on the same DIN rail. The 7K differential suits both functions.

No. The bimetal strip is both sensor and switch, so there is no supply wiring, no standby consumption and no electronic failure mode.
The thermostat switches on and off roughly 7K apart, for example on at 30C and off at 23C. This prevents rapid on-off cycling that shortens fan and heater life.
AC250V 10A per contact. For larger loads, use the thermostat to drive a contactor.
Normally open (KTS011) suits cooling: close the circuit when hot. Normally closed (KTO011) suits heating: break the circuit when warm so the heater runs when cold. Using both gives cold-plus-hot control.
